Prayer pastors meet at base when our Street Pastors are on patrol, they are volunteers drawn from many different churches who enjoy meeting together to support our teams and the community. Volunteers need to be over 18 and willing to give up roughly one Friday or Saturday evening per month, usually between 7.30pm – 10.30pm. Joining the prayer team may suit those who don’t feel able to be out on the streets but want to be part of this valuable work.

The Street team and the prayer team stay in contact via mobile phone during patrol times so that the prayer pastors have up to date information about the areas the team are working in, and any issues that arise.

It is also a time to share community news, upcoming events and pay for each other personally.
